A amostra foi predominantemente feminina (88%), solteira (59%), na faixa etária de 18 a 38 anos (97%), com segundo grau completo (71 %) e pertencentes à Classe Social C (65%). Os resultados obtidos mostraram que os operadores de telemarketing apresentam nível médio-alto de Stress Tipo A (82%), alta presença de somatização com freqüência e intensidade médias e encontram-se na Fase de Resistência de Stress (91 %). O grau de autonomia no trabalho é baixo e o grau de autonomia na vida particular é alto. Encontramos uma grande porcentagem de sujeitos com dor em pescoço e ombros (82%), com intensidade média de dor (5,9).
